My bestie and I went to get shellacked today. Have you heard about shellac? Its the new nail craze that’s sweeping the nation… or whatever. Its basically this hard gel that they layer on your nails and then it’s cured under UV lights at 3 minute intervals. You end up with a gorgeous shiny manicure that’s hard to the touch as soon as they’re finished. Its supposed to last 14-21 days.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, my high-tech space card camera thingy decided to walk off, so I cant upload my nice, clear, camera pictures to my computer. These will have to do. 🙂
I’ll update again in 5 days, 10 days, and definitely 14 days. Im having a hard time thinking that this will last longer than that. Im pretty rough on my nails and 14 days was about as long as it took for my acrylics to start looking grungy.

Shellack is popular up here too! I’ve been thinking of getting my nails done bc of how the winter months have caused havoc on my nails. My coworker has hers done up here and They tend to last about 14 days! So good luck! Your nails look so pretty!
